Let’s talk about Fae Heir, where the vibes are ✨kidnapping, identity crises, and casual regicide✨.

We follow Elowyn—snarky, furious, and very vocal about the fact that she is not a damsel in distress. She gets kidnapped (rude), discovers she’s the king’s illegitimate daughter, and finds out she’s apparently heir to a fae throne she didn’t even know existed (surprise!) like it’s just your average Tuesday.

Unfortunately, the evil queen—who is definitely on her villain arc—takes one look at Elowyn and says “absolutely not,” magically changes her face, and throws her into a gladiator-style fight ring to die, with all men. Because of course.

But Elowyn has other plans. Plans that include:

  • Figuring out this whole new fae world she’s been thrown into

  • Trying to ignore her absurdly attractive fae bodyguard, Rush (she fails, let’s be real)

  • Rescuing her kidnapped friends, who the queen is using as leverage

  • Surviving a series of deadly fae trials

  • And possibly assassinating a monarch

Not necessarily in that order.

The story is fast-paced, full of attitude, and just the right amount of chaos. There are a few plot bumps along the way, and the modern language sometimes pulls you out of the fantasy vibe, but if you’re willing to roll with it, it’s a fun ride.

Final rating: 4/5 stars – Dramatic, deadly, and enough sass to keep you turning the pages.
